My Body
Trying to love it through the weight and muscle gains, and atrophies. Last year I was doing 4 hours of Yoga 6 days a week for a few months. It was amazing to see how my body could change.
Since Winter I have been working multiple jobs and too many projects, and saw my body change again.
When I modelled I was sometimes too short, my hips too wide, and my butt too big. Sometimes I was too skinny, sometimes I had too much muscles. That’s fine. It’s part of the job. Hormones fluctuates, my C-cups bloated by birth control deflate to As with too much sport. In high school I was called to the principal’s office for an assumed ED I never had. Growing up there were many immature boys and supposed friends that made snarky comments on my body on the daily.
I try to remind myself I am not those stories and to be an extra person being mean to my body, to be nice. And to be reminded of all it does for me.
